BTS’s Jin has personally announced his military enlistment date, this comes after one media outlet reported on his military enlistment date shocking fans.

On November 24, BTS Jin took to Weverse to share a new post, he wrote,

News I did not intend to see go public has been published, but ARMY, you should not come to the training center.
There will be many other coming to enlist or accompany their sons as they enlist, so it will be hectic and could lead to potential dangerous situations.
ARMY, I love you.”

Earlier today, one media outlet exclusively reported that Jin would enlist on December 13 at a new recruit training center located in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do. In response to the report, Big Hit Music declined to confirm or deny it.

Recently, Jin had reportedly submitted for a cancellation of postponement of military service. Jin later revealed he’ll enlist at the frontline.

Jin, who was born in 1992, is 30 years old and his enlistment had been postponed until the end of this year after being recommended by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to postpone his enlistment under the revised Military Service Act in 2020. However, due to the submission of the “cancellation of the postponement of enlistment,” Jin is expected to join the army as soon as the enlistment notice is released.
