Disney+ has unveiled the casting lineup of their upcoming drama “The Worst Evil”!

On October 4, Disney+ confirmed the appearance of Ji Chang Wook, Wi Ha Joon, and Lim Se Mi in their upcoming drama “The Worst Evil.”

The original Disney+ series “The Worst Evil” is a crime action drama about an investigation that began in Seoul, South Korea, to capture the triangular drug trade between Korea, China, and Japan.

Ji Chang Wook has become a trusted actor by playing a range of various characters, in action, comedy, and drama genre dramas such as “If You Wish Upon Me,” “The Sound Of Magic,” “Backstreet Rookie,” and “Lovestruck in The City,” will play the role of Kang Joon Mo, a police officer who infiltrated the organization for a drug investigation.

On top of that, Wi Ha Joon, who has been loved by the public for his breathtaking performances, including in dramas such as “Squid Game,” “Bad and Crazy,” and movies such as “Midnight,” and “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum,” will showcase his charm and unique personality by playing the role of Jung Ki Chul, the boss of an emerging criminal organization.

In addition, Lim Se Mi, who showcases a high level of acting with delicate character analysis and inner acting for each role in dramas such as “The Empire,” “X in Crisis,” and “When the Weather Is Fine,” will play Yoo Eui Jung, a police officer working on drug investigations and wife of character Kang Joon Mo.

It is director Han Dong Wook’s next work, who debuted with the melodrama after directing and working as an assistant director of crime genre films such as “The Unjust” and “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time.”

The drama will air in 2023.

My personal thoughts- written by Jass K.

OMG. Wookie as a police officer? sign me up, please!!

It sounds like an interesting idea, I also believe this will be Chang Wook’s first time playing a married couple in a drama from the get-go. So this should be interesting.

I have not seen Wookie play the police officer character before so this is definitely a welcomed change. I am a bit worried since its Disney+ and they haven’t had the best record when it comes to their kdrama releases, but I hope this surprises me.

Ha Joon playing the bad guy role, again? OMG, I am so ready for this. I really wanted to see him play the villain role again, I am glad its happening.

Definitely a kdrama I am excited about for 2023.
