EXO’s Chen “Last Scene” release date has been postponed.

On October 30, SM Entertainment released a statement via EXO’s official social media channels to announce that the release of Chen’s comeback album has been postponed following the tragedy of Itaewon.

SM expressed their condolences to the victims of the tragedy that occurred last night and asked for fans’ understanding and said they will let fans know of the release date again once its confirmed.

As previously reported, at least 151 people died in relation to the crowd surge incident that happened in Itaewon on October 29. More than 100,000 people gathered in Itaewon to celebrate the Halloween weekend on October 29, and due to a suspected overcrowding surge, many began to faint and many people died as a result of the incident. SM Entertainment has also canceled its Halloween party in the early hours of October 30 as a result.

The Prime minister of South Korea has since announced a national mourning period until November 5. Flags will be hoisted, and public officials and institution employees will wear ribbons. All non-urgent events will also be postponed as a result.

Once again, our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been affected by this tragedy.
