“Squid Game” and Lee Yoo Mi continue to make history!

On September 4 local time, the 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. During the award ceremony, “Squid Game” and Lee Yoo Mi won awards setting new records.

Lee Yoo Mi became the first Korean actress to win the award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. She went up against Hope Davis (“Succession”), Marcia Gay Harden (“The Morning Show”), Martha Kelly (“Euphoria”), Sanaa Lathan (“Succession”), and Harriet Walter (“Succession”).

Added to that, “Squid Game” won these awards: Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Single Episode, Outstanding Stunt Performance, and Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More).

The 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards precedes the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards which will take place on September 12.
