Actors Ju Ji Hoon, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Hee Joon, Lee Moo Saeng and Park Ji Yeon have confirmed to star in the upcoming drama “Dominant Species.”
Drama “Stranger” writer Lee Soo Yeon’s new work “Dominant Species” has completed the cast lineup.
On September 8, the drama “Dominant Species” side announced, “Actors Ju Ji Hoon, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Hee Joon, Lee Moo Saeng and Park Ji Yeon have confirmed their appearances in the drama.”
“Dominant Species” is a drama that depicts the era of new artificial cultured meat, in which bloody livestock meat has disappeared from the human table. While BF, a biotechnology company that has ended millions of years of domination of animals, is showing rapid growth by dominating the cultured meat market, people who question BF’s behavior emerge from inside and outside.
Ju Ji Hoon plays the role of Woo Chae Woon, a character who opens the door to “Dominant Species.” Woo Chae Woon is expected to create a new transformation of Ju Ji Hoon.
Han Hyo Joo will play the role of Yoon Yu Ju, the founder, and CEO of BF Group, a cell culture meat company that forms the central axis of the drama. Han Hyo Joo, who presents an unrivaled acting transformation with a wide acting spectrum, is adding excitement to portray a new look as the head of a company.
Lee Hee Joon plays the role of Prime Minister Sun Woo Jae. Prime Minister Sun Woo Jae, started as a secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and rose to the post of Prime minister through party activities.
Lee Moo Saeng will appear in the role of On San, a Physiologist who is a founder member of BF Group and general manager of culture fluid technology. Attention is focused on another transformation of Lee Moo Saeng, who is presenting a variety of characters with his nonstop acting moves from “The World of the Married” to “The Silent Sea,” “30, 9,” and “Cleaning Up.”
Park Ji Yeon, who has been recognized for her delicate acting skills through a number of plays and musical stages, will play the role of Jung Hae Don, the planning director and lawyer of BF Group. Attention is focused on Park Ji Yeon’s performance, who is also performing great acting skills on the screen beyond the stage.
The “Dominant Species” will begin full-scale production in the second half of 2022.
