The group EXID, who celebrate their 10th anniversary since its debut, will make a comeback as a full group in September.
On September 7, EXID had a live broadcast and announced that they will release a new album “X” on September 29.
It is the first time in three years that EXID’s full album has been released since their 5th mini album “We.” The new album will have three songs, including the title song “Fire,” “Lego,” the song name same as the fandom name, and “I don’t know.”
Regarding the album’s name, Hyelin said, “Since it is an album that celebrates our 10th anniversary, we decided to use ‘X’, which means ’10’ in Greek.” And also because we’re E’X’ID.“Solji also added an explanation of “X,” which means collaboration with fans.
Solji expressed her joy for the new album saying, “We’re making a comeback with the 10th anniversary and we’re doing our activities as a group in three years, so I’m very excited. I’m looking forward to how much the fans will like.”
EXID, which debuted in 2012, is a team that has seen the spotlight due to their song ‘Up and Down’ announced in 2014. LE, Jeonghwa, Hani, Solji, and Hyelin have been working as singers and actors at their respective agencies after completing their seven-year exclusive contracts.
