DREAMCATCHER To Comeback With Mini-Album In October

The group “DREAMCATCHER” will make a comeback in about six months with its 7th mini album.

According to the agency Dreamcatcher Company on September 1, DREAMCATCHER will release their 7th mini-album next month. This is the first time since the second full-length album “Apocalypse: Save us” was released in April.

This mini-album is the second Apocalypse series to follow the title track “MAISON”. “Apocalypse: Save Us” was the prelude to the “Apocalypse” trilogy.

Dreamcatcher Company predicted, “As we delivered a message on environmental protection with Maison, including our ambition to leap in a better direction in the dark world, we will deliver a remarkable message this time.”

In particular, DREAMCATCHER achieved their own “career high” with their previous work. They topped iTunes Top Albums Chart in 20 regions, including the U.S., and topped iTunes K-pop Albums Chart in 8 regions. They also sold more than 80,000 copies.

The group also took the lead in their first music show in 1924 days, after their debut with “Maison.” They also recorded a ticket sales rate of 92 percent through “Apocalypse: Save Us in America,” one of the world tours held in eight U.S. cities and Mexico City.

DREAMCATCHER grew through many ups and downs. They were formed after reorganizing the debut girl group “Mings” in 2014. The new members were recruited from existing members and formed a team again to become the current DREAMCATCHER. They started in 2017 and celebrated their 5th anniversary this year.

This is a worldview with a fresh theme with a team that pays more attention abroad than at home. They received favorable reviews for their “nightmare” and “half-utopia” series with the theme of “dystopia” based on fantasy stories. They put the rock metal genre ahead, which is rare among Korean girl groups.

Are you excited for their comeback?
