Narco-Saints” official character posters have been released!

“Narco Saints” is a Netflix series that tells the story of a civilian, who is falsely accused of being a drug godfather, who took control of Surinam, joins a secret mission from the NIS operating in South America.

Regarding this surprising meeting, Hwang Jung Min said, “We’re finally meeting,” which shows how this project made even the actors excited. Jo Woo Jin and Yoo Yeon Seok said, “I felt like we have worked together for more than one or two projects, but this is the first project we all are working on together. Actors have also been looking forward to working together and it was one of the reasons for our participation in this work. We really wanted to work with them after hearing the news of the casting of the seniors.”

The actors portray two-sided characters and showed intense acting. First of all, the two actors, Ha Jung Woo and Hwang Jung Min, who need no words, will take on the historic roles of Kang In Gu, a civilian businessman, and Jeon Yo Hwan. Kang In Gu is a figure who joins the secret operation of the NIS after being falsely accused of being a drug offender because of Jeon Yo Hwan in Surinam who came to make a fortune. Kang In Gu, who director Yoon Jong Bin wanted to portray as “a humorous and positive person, not a rough and rugged character despite the hardships,” met Ha Jung Woo, who was loved by the audience as a relaxed character who did not lose humor despite hardships and disasters, and be a livelier and more alive person.

Hwang Jung Min, who plays Jeon Yo Hwan, a hidden powerhouse who controls Suriname, a drug godfather, and a rare swindler, leads the tension of the play with a character who does not stop doubting and scheming so stop the kingdom he founded from collapsing.

Park Hae Soo, who has become a world-renowned actor with the Netflix series “Squid Game” and “Money Heist: Korea-Joint Economic Area,” will portray Choi Chang Ho, an NIS agent who approaches Jeon Yo Hwan by disguising himself as an international trader.

Director Yoon Jong Bin said, “Everyone has different looks. I tried to show various faces through various aspects of Park Hae Soo.” Expectations are high for Park Hae Soo’s transformation, who showed off his conflicting charm across rational and sincere NIS agents and hot-tempered rough traders.

Jo Woo Jin, who has shown an unrivaled presence in every work with excellent character interpretation and seasoned transformation, plays Byun Ki Tae, Jeon Yo Hwan’s right-hand man, and action leader. Jo Woo Jin said, “I spent more time and efforts to portray this character than any other character I have played,” who is “a symbolic figure that shows how incredible and dark the Jeon Yo Hwan group is,” not only created a strong appearance with short hairstyles and tattoos but also honed Yeonbyeon dialect and Chinese language.

Yoo Yeon Seok, who has been loved for his soft image through “Reply 1994” and “Hospital Playlist,” attempted a drastic transformation into David Park, an organization’s brain in charge of not only legal advice, but also cocaine distribution network, money management, and contact places. Director Yoon Jong Bin said that the audience will be surprised by this new change of character, which he brought out instead of the soft charm of Yoo Yeon Seok, which the public has loved so far.

Finally, world star Zhang Chen, who has played roles in movies such as “Dune” and “The Grandmaster” adds strength by playing Chen Jin, the head of a notorious Chinese organization in Surinam. Chen Jin, who became the second-in-command of Surinam after being pushed by Jeon Yo Hwan, dreams of a counterattack and puts new tension in the movie. Director Yoon Jong Bin, who persuaded Zhang Chen for a long time to cast him, said, “I watched the first cut and everything was expressed well by him. He is the best actor,” raising expectations on how Zhang will show synergy with other actors.
