JTBC will release a global music program called “K-909,” here is what we know so far!
JTBC explained that “K-909” is a global music show for fans around the world who love K-POP. JTBC said, “Now that various music platforms are flooding more than ever, the artists are ready to provide music that fans can trust and enjoy the dream stage.”
On August 1, the production team of “K-909” released a graphic teaser video on its YouTube channel. The teaser video shows the ‘K-909’ logo created by inverting the K-POP letters. JTBC’s own interpretation is that it will be a new venue for the infinite expansion of K-POP.
“K-909” will set up a stage where you can show the artist’s diverse music world, including first-release tracks, special collaborations, and special arrangements. In addition, plans to produce documentary-style videos that show the artist’s efforts and concerns when they will prepare for this so that their sincerity can be conveyed to fans.
The production team said, “We wanted to create a space where K-pop singers could fully attract attention as artists because the artist stage usually passes by in less than three minutes,” adding, “We aim for a differentiated music show featuring each precious stage of K-pop artists, which has become the center of the global music market.”
“K-909” is scheduled to premiere in September.
