My personal thoughts- written by Jass K.

Wow! Thats a solid cast. Kim Eun Sook’s scripts have either been a hit or a miss in my opinion and I’ve talked about it in previous reviews of her dramas, but this one feels a bit different from what she usually does. Added to that, this has a low count of episodes and will be aired on Netflix. Thus, I expect a higher production value and a tighter script with more freedom. Let us see what she does with it.

The casting is, for the most part, to my liking. Lim Ji Yeon is amazing, she’s very underrated and I know she will ace this and make me hate her character.

I am a big fan of Park Sung Hoon and I love seeing him play villain roles. Do Hyun is always delightful.

This will be probably the most challenging script Hye Kyo had to work with in a while. I’ve spoken about her acting and my thoughts on it previously. This time, it appears she’s trying something different which I appreciate. It means she listened to what some had been saying for a while about her roles. Since she has a habit of restricting her facial expressions, I am skeptical about how she’ll handle a traumatized character who is hell-bent on revenge. I hope she proves me wrong and aces this. There is nothing I love more than being unexpectedly pleasantly surprised with someone’s performance.

I am cautiously hopeful.
