“ISAC” Already Under Fire For Allegedly Violating Human Rights Of Idol Fans

“Idol Star Athletics Championships” (ISAC) is already under fire and it hasn’t even aired yet.

Recently, MBC confirmed that “ISAC” will make a return this year.

Previously, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show couldn’t air for three years.

However, the show have come under fire for its regulations that many considered to be violating human rights. The regulations stated that fans of idols are prohibited from bringing meals or leaving while filming, the filming period lasts for 15 hours.

According to one of the idols fandoms, fans will be able to enter the filming stadium at 5:30 AM, and the filming is scheduled to end at 9 PM. This means a long 15 hours without food. ISAC was prohibiting people from leaving or bringing in any food.

After the news became viral, it was reported that ISAC changed its policy to allow people to enter midway, in the case of prohibiting any food or meals, ISAC edited their rules to allow people to leave the stadium for a bit to eat and come back.

MBC has also already confirmed the lineup of the artists attending including: NCT, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, IVE, NMIXX, EVERGLOW, Kep1er, Brave Girls, Weeekly, ONEUS, VERIVERY, Billlie, DKZ, WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn), Ha Sung Woon, Kwon Eun Bi, Choi Ye Na, WEi, Xdinary Heroes, Kim Jae Hwan, Jo Yu Ri, MCND, DRIPPIN, PURPLE KISS, TEMPEST, ALICE, TNX, CLASS:y, KINGDOM, TAN, Rocket Punch, TRI.BE, Jeong Sewoon, DKB, YOUNITE, ATBO, ICHILLIN’, H1-KEY, ITZY, STAYC, CIX, AB6IX, BVNDIT, EPEX, LIGHTSUM, and Lapillus.
