“Big Mouth” came on top. According to Nielsen Korea, “Big Mouth” 1st episode scored an average nationwide rating of 6.2%, its the most-watched Friday-Saturday drama of the night. It also managed to score more than its predecessor’s premiere ratings. Previously, “Doctor Lawyer” premiered to 5.2%.

“Big Mouth” is considered one of the most anticipated kdramas of 2022 and is led by Lee Jong Suk and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA.

Meanwhile, SBS’s new drama “Today’s Webtoon” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.1%, already a considerable gap between the two competing dramas. It didn’t manage to capture viewers’ attention as much as its predecessor “Why Her?” managed to with its premiere, it scored 6% on its premiere night.

“Today’s Webtoon” is led by Kim Sejeong and Daniel Choi.

Which one of these dramas are you currently watching?

My personal thoughts- written by Jass K.

I’ve seen both kdramas and I liked the premiere of both for different reasons. Both dramas are so different, it won’t be easy to compare them. “Today’s Webtoon” gave me warm feelings while “Big Mouth” was definitely enticing and had me wondering what will happen next.

I don’t know how the ratings battle will shape out to be but it will definitely be interesting to see. Generally speaking, SBS dramas usually dominate this time slot but MBC came in strong this time. I am intrigued.
