“The Outlaws 2” (“The Roundup”) is a massive success!
On June 1, the Korean Film Council revealed that “The Outlaws 2” has now officially garnered more than 9 million moviegoers, becoming even faster than the popular 2019 film “Parasite” to reach this feat. The movie is also the first one to surpass more than 9 million moviegoers since 2019.
The cast of “The Outlaws 2” expressed their love and gratitude to everyone who loved and watched the movie, they said, “We couldn’t have imagined to receive such warm support and enthusiastic response after the COVID-19 pandemic. “The Outlaws 2” is a movie that depicts the thrilling crime-fighting operation of the legendary detective Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok) and his squad to catch the strongest villain Kang Hae Sang (Son Suk Ku). It is the highly-awaited sequel of the hit 2017 movie “The Outlaws.”
