tvN has released a new exciting poster for their upcoming drama “Alchemy of Souls”!

Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in a fictional nation named Daeho, a country that doesn’t exist in history or maps. The story will follow a set of main characters whose fates get twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls.

Lee Jae Wook is taking on the role of the sophisticated yet troublesome young master Jang Wook of the Jang family within Daeho nation. He’s a character that has a tragic background, the entire nation gossips about his shocking birth secret. He’s angry with the world but returns to the proper path after meeting assassin Mu Deok Yi.

Jung So Min will take on the role of Mu Deok Yi, a great assassin stuck in the world’s weakest body. She becomes Jang Wook’s attendant and secret mentor, she teaches him in a brutal manner.

The newly released poster shows an atmosphere change between Jang Wook and Mu Deok Ki. In the previous teaser, the playful chemistry between Jang Wook and Deok Ki was shown where he seemed to purposefully tease Deok Ki. However, in this new poster, the noble master and the world’s weakest servant’s closeness to each other is heart-fluttering. Viewers are looking forward to seeing Lee Jae Wook’s Portray of Jang Wook who will do anything to protect and guard Deok Mi, whose eyes are shining with charisma.

In particular, Jang Wook can be seen covering one of Deok Ki’s eyes with the blade he drew. This is because he is trying to hide the remnant of the mysterious blue light that glows from her eye so no one can notice it. The text reads, “Stay close to me, so nobody can come at us!” This foretells a change in the relationship between these two people in the future who have become so important and necessary to each other.

“Alchemy of Souls” is set to premiere on June 18.
