“Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in a fictional nation named Daeho, a country that doesn’t exist in history or maps. The story will follow a set of main characters whose fates get twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls.

Lee Jae Wook is taking on the role of the sophisticated yet troublesome young master Jang Wook of the Jang family within Daeho nation. He’s a character that has a tragic background, the entire nation gossips about his shocking birth secret. He’s angry with the world but returns to the proper path after meeting assassin Mu Deok Yi.

Jung So Min will take on the role of Mu Deok Yi, a great assassin stuck in the world’s weakest body. She becomes Jang Wook’s attendant and secret mentor, she teaches him in a brutal manner.

The newly released highlight shows how the soul of the most powerful assassin Nak Soo (Go Yoon Jung) got trapped in the world’s weakest body Mu Deok Yi, and how later she becomes the teacher of the troublesome young master Jang Wook. They both form a unique teacher-student relationship that after a while blooms into something more romantic despite facing initial doubts and hardships.

In addition, one scene gives us an interaction happening between Jang Wook and Park Jin (Yoo Joon Sang) who shows hostility towards the young master and reminds him that he is good for nothing, his words leave Jang Wook in tears.
