tvN has released a new exciting poster featuring Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min for their upcoming drama “Alchemy of Souls”!
“Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in a fictional nation named Daeho, a country that doesn’t exist in history or maps. The story will follow a set of main characters whose fates get twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls.
Lee Jae Wook is taking on the role of the sophisticated yet troublesome young master Jang Wook of the Jang family within Daeho nation. He’s a character that has a tragic background, the entire nation gossips about his shocking birth secret. He’s angry with the world but returns to the proper path after meeting assassin Mu Deok Yi.
Jung So Min will take on the role of Mu Deok Yi, a great assassin stuck in the world’s weakest body. She becomes Jang Wook’s attendant and secret mentor, she teaches him in a brutal manner.
The newly released poster catches the eyes with how Jang Wook and Mu Deok Yi are facing each other. Their gazes are cold and sharp as Deok Yi, who is the most powerful assassin stuck in the world’s weakest body, approaches the charismatic troublesome Jang Wook. The text reads, “You’re the only one, the only one who can come this close to me,” making viewers look forward to their chemistry and how the story will unfold.
“Alchemy of Souls” is set to premiere on June 18.
