Turns out that even the best of the best can get nervous singing at their friend’s wedding.

Recently, FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki appeared as a guest on MBC’s most recent episode of “Radio Star.” During the show, he talked about the nerve-racking performance he’s done recently.

Lee Hong Ki explained that he usually doesn’t get nervous before singing but he got very nervous before singing at Park Shin Hye and Choi Tae Joon’s wedding back in January.

Back in January, FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Ki and EXO D.O. sang congratulatory songs at her wedding. Clips of the singing went viral all over social media back then.

Lee Hong Ki also revealed that he had gone with his mother since she was friends with Shin Hye’s mother and Tae Joon’s mother back when they were child actors.

Lee Hong Ki said,

“I sang the OST for Park Shin Hye’s drama ‘Heirs‘ called ‘I’m Saying,’ its an extremely high notes song. The thing is, I don’t usually warm up my voice even before performing on music shows, but I realized that I had to warm up this time.

There were so many celebrities there. It looked like an award ceremony.”

Lee Hong Ki also revealed that EXO’s D.O. also felt nervous, he said,

“The second congratulatory singer was Kyungsoo.. and as I was about to sing, I look behind me and Kyungsoo was also trembling nervous. I found comfort in that and I did my best to sing well.”
