“Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in a fictional nation named Daeho, a country that doesn’t exist in history or maps. The story will follow a set of main characters whose fates get twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls.

The drama is written by the Hong sister who famously worked on many hit dramas such as “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “The Greatest Love,” “Master’s Sun,” “Hotel Del Luna,” and more. It will be directed by Park Joon Hwa of “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim.”

Joo Sang Wook will take on the role of Jang Kang, the ruler of Cheonbugwan and Jang Wook’s father. Jang Kang’s eyes are sharp and cold as he exudes a very powerful and charismatic aura of the greatest magician in all of Daeho.
