tvN has released the main poster for upcoming drama “Eve”!
“Eve” is a melodrama that centers around the story of a chaebol’s 2-trillion-won (approximately $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shocks the entire nation.
Seo Ye Ji is taking on the role of Lee Ra El, who was born between a genius father and a beautiful mother. After going through an unfortunate family affair, she becomes a woman with a fatal charm. She is the woman at the center of the divorce lawsuit. Park Byung Eun will star as the CEO of the No. 1 corporate group in the financial world Kang Yoon Kyum. He is a faithful man to his family and worked without a single scandal, but he fell in love with Lee Ra El after meeting her.
Lee Sang Yeob is taking on the role of Seo Eun Pyung, a human rights lawyer who gives up everything for love once he meets Lee Ra El. Yoo Sun plays Han So Ra, the only daughter of powerful politician Han Pan Ro who married into the LJ Group chaebol family. She’s beautiful and appears confident but is afraid of aging.
The newly released poster feature the main characters Lee Ra El, Kang Yoon Kyum, Seo Eun Pyung, and Han So Ra. Each of them are hiding different intense desires. Lee Ra El grabs the attention with her queen-like aura that seems to overpower the other three people. In addition, there are two different shadows emitting from Ra El, unlike the small shadow behind Eun Pyung, the one behind Kang Yoon Kyum and So Ra is big and intimidating as if it swallowing them both, symbolizing Ra El anger and her desire for revenge.
On the other hand, Yoon Kyum, who is sitting in front of his wife So Ra, seem to be conscious of Ra El’s presence, raising questions about what made him decide to throw everything away for this deadly love he has with Ra El. At the same time, So Ra can be seen clutching her the skirt of her dress tightly, showing her obsession and anger towards her husband. Meanwhile, Eun Pyung firm expression and clenched fists show his determination to protect his beliefs and love.
The text on the poster reads, “The more dangerous that person is, the more you want that one person,” raises curiosity and interest for these characters who will do anything to get revenge.
“Eve” is set to premiere on May 25.
