tvN has released new stills featuring Lee Jae Wook for their upcoming drama “Alchemy of Souls”!
“Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in a fictional nation named Daeho, a country that doesn’t exist in history or maps. The story will follow a set of main characters whose fates get twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls. The drama’s title itself refers to the soul switch.
Lee Jae Wook is taking on the role of the sophisticated yet troublesome young master Jang Wook of the Jang family within Daeho nation. He’s a character that has a tragic background, the entire nation gossips about his shocking birth secret. He’s angry with the world but returns to the proper path after meeting assassin Mu Deok Yi (Jung So Min).
The newly released stills show Jang Wook’s elegant and graceful appearance, including his proper hairstyle, straight posture, and serious facial expressions, he is a perfect example of a master from the Jang family. However, his firm gaze is expressing otherwise, he is a is an unlucky man who has a shocking secret about his birth and is angry at the world and the situation he is in. Viewers are looking forward to Jang Wook’s chemistry with his secret mentor Mu Deok Yi and how their story will unfold.
“Alchemy of Souls” is set to premiere on June 18.
