LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Garam’s Former School has issued a brief response due to the new alleged evidence getting leaked.
Recently, a netizen shared what they claim to be new evidence of Kim Garam being a school bully. They attached a picture of the results document issued by the Autonomous Committee for Countermeasures against School Violence.
The document says,
“We are informing you of the action that we will be taking in accordance with Articles 16 and 17 of the Act on the Prevention of and Countermeasures Against Violence in Schools.”
Article 16 specifically refers to ‘protection of victim students’ with the law stating that if a school violence committee is necessary, it may request the school to take measures such as either providing temporary protection, treatment, psychological counseling, or a change of class, and more.
Article 17 deals with “Countermeasures Against Aggressor Students,” with the committee having the ability to request one or more of the following measures: written apology, a restraining order preventing the bully from contacting the victim, service to the school, service to society, a special educational course or psychological treatment, suspension, a change of class, transfer to another school, or expulsion.
The leaked document names Kim Garam as a perpetrator of school violence along with another student. The document says “Kim Garam from Year 1, Class 3”

When contacted for an answer on whether the document is fake or not, Kim Garam’s former middle school said, ‘we cannot give a response.’
Source Music had also given a response prior stating, “Nothing has changed from our earlier stance. We have begun taking legal action and the details will be revealed via the legal process.”

The bullying accusations against Kim Garam began in April prior to the group’s debut. Back then, Source Music denied the allegations and said they were ‘maliciously edited’ to slander Kim Garam and contrary to what was being said, they have confirmed through a third-party statement that she was in fact bullied when she was in middle school. Despite the agency taking legal action, the rumors didn’t subside and continued to grow even after the group’s debut.
