More details about Kim Sae Ron’s DUI have been shared as it was revealed that the actress caused major issues.
This morning, On May 18, a source from the Seoul Gangnam Police Station released a statement to announce that at around 8 a.m. KST in the district of Cheongdam in Gangnam, Kim Sae Ron was booked for driving under the influence. She crashed into a structure and when police measured her alcohol content at the scene, she requested to get a blood test, thus, she was taken to the hospital.
More details have since been revealed and it was revealed that she actually hit an electric transformer box located on the side of the road near Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam. She hit it so hard and multiple times that it was uprooted. The box was completely destroyed. Some witnesses claim they saw her hit it many times and they reported hearing loud noises, netizens are surprised the box didn’t explode from the impact. According to reports, Kim Sae Ron didn’t step out of the vehicle to check on the damage but instead attempted to escape.
It was also said that she has another passenger with her in the front seat and if this is confirmed to be true, the passenger could also be charged.
Due to the damage she caused, several buildings in the area suffered from a power outage and a traffic light outage too. Some businesses reported the payment processing system outages, thus, some of the businesses in the area had to close down for the morning before the situation was restored to normal.
The damages she caused to the electric box reportedly took technicians 5 hours to fix. Many news outlets have shared photos of the technicians working on the box.
