SBS has unveiled a new intriguing teaser for their upcoming drama “Why Her?”
“Why Her” is a romance mystery drama that tells the painful yet exciting story of Oh Soo Jae (Seo Hyun Jin), a cold lawyer who has become empty while pursuing success, and Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop), a law school student who has fallen in love with Oh Soo Jae and will do anything to protect her. The story of these two people whose lives take a drastic turn of events when a wrong choice was made.
The drama also stars Heo Joon Ho, Bae In Hyuk, Kim Chang Wan, Lee Kyung Young, Bae Hae Sun, Cha Chung Hwa, Jo Dal Hwan, Kim Jae Hwa, Ji Seung Hyun, and more.
Seo Hyun Jin will play Oh Soo Jae, a lawyer who hides her pain with a cold face, she is a successful lawyer who is recognized by the others, she has a competitive spirit and she fears nothing in the world, she always aims for the success but that all changed why she makes the wrong choice who she believed was an opportunity for success. Hwang In Yeop will play Gong Chan, a law school student whose life is entirely changed when he fell in love with Oh Soo Jae. Although he looks like a normal young man who has lived a normal life, his painful past tells otherwise.
The newly released teaser starts with Oh Soo Jae, her elegant visuals and overwhelming presence grab the attention, she is an ambitious woman who dreams of becoming the first female lawyer in Korea’s top 10 law firm. She narrates, “To climb to the end, that is my dream, and I am halfway there,” which raises questions, what awaits the end of Oh Soo Jae’s climb?
The atmosphere changes when we see Oh Soo Jae covered in blood as someone yells at her that she has killed their sister, her shaking eyes hint at the crisis that will befall her. The next scene shows Oh Soo Jae making a deal with the CEO of TK’s law firm, he promises her a successful career in which she agrees to.
We then see Gong Chan, as he tries to understand what is happening with Oh Soo Jae and what is her motive. In despite of everything that is happening, Gong Chan is falling in love with the ambitious Oh Soo Jae, we see him confessing his feelings for her in the elevator, making viewers look forward to the relationship that will develop between these two people.
The next shot we see Gong Chan and Choi Yoon Sang (Bae In Hyuk) taking down pictures that are claiming Oh Soo Jae is a murderer. Above all, the end of the video shows her smiling as her voiceover asks, “Did you think you would be a match for me?” raising expectations about Oh Soo Jae’s interesting story.
