CLC is disbanding!

CLC members have been leaving the agency one by one since 2021 beginning with Elkie in February of 2021, followed by Sorn in November of 2021. On March 18, Cube Entertainment revealed that Seungyeon and Yeeun will also be leaving the agency after their contracts expired.

On May 20, Cube Entertainment released one final statement addressing the future of CLC revealing the group is disbanding.

They stated,

“Hello, this is Cube Entertainment.

Firstly, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the fans who always loved and supported CLC over the past seven years.

As CLC’s official activities have ended, we would like to inform you that CLC U CUBE operations will end as of June 6, 2022.

We plan to allow you to read posts for a certain period of time so you cherish the precious memories made with the CLC members.”

They wrapped up their statement with the details of how CLC U CUBE operations will be terminated and ended it with one final thank you to fans for supporting groups, they also added, “We will genuinely be cheering for each of the seven members as they embark on their own paths.”
