Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Seo, Kwak Si Yang, Kang Mina, And More Attend The First Script Reading For Upcoming Comedy-Mystery Drama

KBS’s upcoming drama “Café Minamdang” has unveiled photos from the first script reading session!

“Café Minamdang” is a mystery comedy about the events that unfold when a former profiler Nam Han Joon becomes a baksumudang (male shaman) and meets violent crimes division’s team leader Han Jae Hee.

Director Go Jae Hyun was present with writer Park Hye Jin and actors Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Seo, Kwak Si Yang, Kwon Soo Hyun, Kang Mina, Jung Eun Pyo, Jung Man Sik, Hwang Woo Seul Hye, Jung Ha Joon, and Baek Seo Hoo.

Seo In Guk is taking on the role of the fraudulent baksumudang Nam Han Joon, who is also a former profiler. He’s born into great fortune and has a handsome face, he’s considered the maverick of the shaman world. He uses his profiling skills to accurately guess what the customers want and resolve their problems.

Oh Yeon Seo will be transforming to the violent crimes division’s team leader Han Jae Hee. A righteous woman, she’s quirky, sincere and doesn’t hold grudges. She doesn’t bow down to people with status and isn’t afraid of using her fist if something isn’t right.

Kwak Si Yang will play the handsome barista Gong Soo Chul, while Kang Mina will play Nam Hye Joon, she is the free-spirited younger sister of Nam Han Joon who is very smart and bubbly. Kwon Soo Hyun will play the mysterious Cha Do Won, he is a prosecutor in the criminal division of the Western District Prosecutors’ Office who has a warm and cool personality.

Jung Eun Pyo will play the sensible police chief Kim Chul Geun. Hwang Woo Seul Hye will play Lee Min Kyung, he is the handsome VVIP customer of Minamdong. Baek Seo Hoo will play Jonathan, a handsome warm man who has a peculiar side to him. And lastly, Jung Man Sik will play Jang Doo Jin, a detective who helps Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo), and Jung Ha Joon will play Na Kwang Tae, a new detective who has an ambitious spirit and great energy.

“Café Minamdang” is set to premiere this June.
