Nam Joo Hyuk has answered one of fans’ most burning questions ahead of “Twenty Five, Twenty One” finale.

NOTE: SPOILERS AHEAD BELOW!

“Twenty Five, Twenty One” has found massive success with its ratings soaring to new heights with each new episode and as the drama nears its end, some began to speculate about the fate of Nam Joo Hyuk’s character Baek Yi Jin and whether it might be that he dies.

In the present day, Hee Do is all grown up and her daughter Min Chae reads her diaries. In the drama, it is not specified who the father is and many have speculated that it might be Baek Yi Jin and the reason he was not brought up in the present day means he might have died when the child was young.

This is one of the most popular theories pertaining to “Twenty Five, Twenty One” ending.

Recently, Nam Joo Hyuk addressed those concerns when he appeared in a video on the official YouTube channel of his agency.

Nam Joo Hyuk says he’s gotten many calls asking him why his character dies, he joked about it saying, ‘I don’t know why people try so hard to kill me, I think there are evil forces… evil forces, stop it.’

Nam Joo Hyuk then goes on to explain that “Twenty Five, Twenty One” ending will be lots of fun and that he’ll be able to show fans many different sides of himself.
