BTOB Yook Sungjae has been caught in dating rumors.
Recently, an online community post stirred the dating rumors between BTOB Yook Sungjae and a social media influencer [hereafter A]. The post points to what they allege are evidence that the two are dating, such as the rumor that Peniel is friends with A. The poster also alleges that BTOB Yook Sungjae’s voice can be heard in a video recording of a golf course A had posted recently, A had deleted that video.
Netizens had talked about Sungjae and Peniel most recent favorite activity which is golfing and soon drew the two points together to conclude Peniel introduced A to Sungjae and that they went on golf dates.
Some even claimed the two were spotted with couple phone cases as well. A then made her account private after the post became viral.
More and more people then began talking about it and it was one of this week’s hot topics on various Korean online communities.
However, on April 20, a source from his agency explained the situation and denied the rumors.
They stated the dating rumors are false, adding,
“It was just two acquaintances playing golf together.
After the dating rumors began, many private messages were sent to A which is why she privated her account.”
Yook Sungjae has been discharged from the military in November of 2021, he’s currently busily preparing for his drama comeback.
