Red Velvet’s Upcoming Performances Canceled After Seulgi Tests Positive For COVID-19

Red Velvet‘s main vocalist Seulgi has tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement released by Red Velvet’s management agency, SM Entertainment, Seulgi contracted the virus on March 30. She has received two COVID vaccinations and is asymptomatic. Red Velvet’s performances on “M Countdown” on March 31 and “Music Bank” on April 1 have been canceled.

Seulgi is the fourth member of Red Velvet to test positive for COVID-19, after members Yeri, Joy, and Irene tested positive in early March. Member Wendy has tested negative for COVID.
