Soon-to-be married Son Ye Jin expressed her feelings of gratitude on her first public appearance after her engagement announcement to Hyun Bin!
On February 16, Son Ye Jin attended the press release for her upcoming drama “Thirty Nine” where she addressed her marriage news and thanked the fans for their support.
She said, “I have received so many congratulations and I want to take this opportunity to say thank you.”
“Thirty Nine” is Son Ye Jin’s first work in two years since her last hit drama “Crash Landing On You.”
Her new drama “Thirty Nine” is a romance drama that tells the story of three friends, who met in their second year of high school, and how they are going to turn 40. The drama deals with the stories of these three soon-to-be 40 women and their friendship and love. Son Ye Jin will play Cha Mi Jo, a girl who was born and raised by wealthy parents and is now the head dermatologist of a clinic in Gangnam.
On February 10, Son Ye Jin took to Instagram to personally announce via a post that she’s getting married to Hyun Bin. Hyun Bin has also released a personal Handwritten letter via his official company Instagram account, VAST Entertainment. In the post, one of the photos shows him holding Son Ye Jin’s hands and the other feature the handwritten letter.
In a later statement via their agencies, they confirmed the couple is getting married in March in a private ceremony to be attended by their close family and acquaintances due to the current situation with COVID-19.
“Thirty-Nine” will premiere tonight on February 16 at 10:30 P.M KST!
