BTS has made history!

On February 6, BTS’s “Boy With Luv” feat. Halsey has surpassed 800 million streams on Spotify, making it the first-ever Korean song to achieve this milestone.

“Boy With Luv” was released on April 12, 2019, so it took the song two years, nine months, and 27 days to hit 800 million streams.

This makes “Boy With Luv” the first-ever Korean song to hit this impressive mark, added to that, it is also the first-ever Korean-language song to surpass 800 million streams in Spotify’s history. BTS has one other song that has achieved the same milestone, their English single “Dynamite,” which became the first song by a Korean act to reach 800 million streams.

Congratulations to BTS!
