Seo Ye Ji has issued an apology addressing her past controversial relationship with actor Kim Jung Hyun.
Last year, the actress was involved in controversy over allegedly manipulating Kim Jung Hyun‘s problematic behavior in 2018, due to the severe backlash against her, she withdrew from the drama “Island.” Her agency did issue a response at the time but the actress herself never addressed it. She also faced other controversies due to various other issues none of which were ever addressed by her agency.
On February 27, Seo Ye Ji released a formal apology regarding the controversy, she said,
“Hello, this is Seo Ye Ji.
First of all, I’d like to sincerely apologize for the fact that I am sharing my feelings so late through these written words.
I had time to reflect on myself through looking at the many things that have been said about me.
I would like to sincerely apologize for causing concern to many people due to my shortcomings. Once again, I sincerely apologize for causing a lot of disappointment.
Everything stems from my immaturity, and I will try to act more carefully and show a more mature self in the future.”
Seo Ye Ji is currently filming for the upcoming drama “Eve” which is scheduled to drop in the first half of 2022, tvN had recently released a photo from its first script reading.
