Park Seo Joon And Han So Hee will be leading an upcoming thriller drama.
On January 27, the upcoming drama “Gyeongseong Creature” (literal title) announced that Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee have been confirmed as the leads and that filming has officially begun.
“Gyeongseong Creature” is set in the dark times of Spring 1945, its a thriller about two young adults who face off against a creature and fight for their survival.
Park Seo Joon is taking on the role of Jang Tae Sang, a wealthy man of Bukchon who has naturally keen insight and knows how to get by in the world. He’s sociable and thus, a well-known figure in his community. When he meets Yoon Chae Ok, who has lived a completely different life from him, he begins to face what’s hidden away deep in his heart and begins to change as he explores what it means to live like a human.
Han So Hee takes on the role of Yoon Chae Ok, a woman who searches for missing people. Since a young age, she’s learned how to get by in life with her father as they journeyed through Manchuria and Shanghai. She has survived terrible situations and is skilled at working with guns, knives, and such.
Yoon Chae Ok comes to Gyeongseong (Seoul’s name during Japanese colonial rule over Korea) to track down her missing mother of 10 years, she meets Jang Tae Sang. While chasing the mysterious case of serial disappearances, she comes face-to-face with the horrifying reality.
It will be written by Kang Eun Kyung of the “Dr. Romantic” series and directed by Jung Dong Yoon of “Stove League.”
“Gyeongseong Creature” is scheduled to premiere in 2023.

The only sad thing about this news is the fact that it airs in 2023.
Such an interesting pair. Man, I’ve been missing Park Seo Joon terribly and can’t wait to see him. On the other hand, I never expected this would be the type of career trajectory Han So Hee ends up taking.
She seeks out psychically demanding roles, which I like.
I wonder who will pick this up but I am guessing its a large company that can afford this interesting idea. So excited about this. Screenwriter Kang Eun Kyung has written some interesting scripts. I also really like anything set around the early 1900s, added to it, this is a thriller drama, I am so excited.
