Kep1er Sets A New Record For Girl Groups With Their Debut Album Sales

Kep1er has broken a new record with their debut album!

According to Hanteo Chart, more than 200,000 copies of kep1er’s debut album “First Impact” were sold in the first week of its release, making them the only K-Pop girl group to have this much sales with their album during the first week of their debut.

This record was previously held by IVE, a rookie girl group that debuted back in December 2021.

As of now, Kep1er’s “WA DA DA” music video has surpassed 30 million views on YouTube, the song also entered various music charts in the United States, U.K, Australia, Germany, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan.    

Kep1er was formed on the Mnet survival show “Girls Planet 999” last year, it is a nine-member group consisting of Kim Chae Hyun, Huening Bahiyyih, Choi Yu Jin, Kim Da Yeon, Seo Yeong Eun, Kang Ye Seo, Ezaki Hikaru, Sakamoto Mashiro, and Shen Xiao Ting.
