The 36th Golden Disc Awards Reveals It’s Nominees For The Major Categories

The 36^th Golden Disc Awards nominees list is out!

On December 8, the award show revealed the list of nominees for its major categories, to compete, songs and albums had to be released between November 2020 through mid-November 2021. For the album division award, only albums with at least six new tracks (excluding intros, outros, and instrumentals) were eligible. OSTs and project songs from TV programs were not considered.

As for the winners’ criteria: the Bongsang (Main Award) and Daesang (Grand Prize) are calculated based on sales [60%] and expert panel [40%]. The Rookie Artist will be chosen based on digital song sales [40%], physical album sales [30%] and expert panel [40%]. As for the popularity award it will be 100% determined via votes.
