Upcoming Girl Group Kep1er’s debut will be delayed!

On December 5, Kep1er’s agency released a statement to reveal that a staff member hwo works with the group has been tested positive for the virus the previous day. As a result, the rest of the staff along with the members preemptively tested for COVID-19, and they have all tested negative.

Currently, none of the members are showing symptoms of infection either. However, their promotional plans will be delayed regardless of that fact.

The decision was made with the health and safety of the members and staff in mind, therefore, Kep1er’s promotional schedule will inevitably be pushed back. The agency apologized to the fans for the announcement and stated that they follow instructions and make sure the members are safe.

Kep1er is a nine-member girl group formed through Mnet’s audition program “Girls Planet 999.” Originally, their debut was supposed to take place on December 14 and they were scheduled to attend the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) on December 11.
