“Happiness” Ends With Its Highest Rating While “The Red Sleeve” Continues To Dominate The Ratings Race

Happiness” has ended its run with its highest rating!

On December 11, the popular apocalyptic thriller aired its finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the series finale of “Happiness” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.2%, this is the drama’s best rating to date.

The drama came in first place in its time slot across all channels [cable and public] in the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, scoring a nationwide rating of 2.6%.

MBC’s “The Red Sleeve” continues to dominate the race coming first in its time slot with 10.2%. Competing in the same time slot is SBS’s “Now We Are Breaking Up” which remained consistent with 6.8% in ratings.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Jirisan” which has only one episode left scored 7.6% coming in first place across all cable channels in its time slot. JTBC’s “Inspector Koo” which also ends today saw a dip in ratings scoring 1.5% while “Uncle” kicked off with an average nationwide rating of 2.4%.
