Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” has come to an end!

On October 17, the hit tvN drama wrapped up its run airing its 16th episode. According to Nielsen Korea, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” finale scored an average nationwide rating of 12.7%, the drama’s personal best record to date.

It also took first place in its time slot among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Lost” scored 1.6%.

Next week, the highly anticipated drama “Jirisan” takes over “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” spot. “Jirisan” is led by Jun Ji Hyun, Ju Ji Hoon, Sung Dong Il, Oh Jung Se, and tells the story of a group of mountain rangers who trek up and down the Jiri Mountain. The drama will follow the incidents that happen at the national park where the two main characters [played by Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon] begin to dig up the truth behind a mysterious event that happened on the mountain.

  1. The ending was the best! I cried tears of joy, heartbreak and everything in between. I laughed! Such a wonderful cast of characters! Each and everyone endeared themselves to me. In a difficult time for everyone in the world, this healing series has brought me such joy and hope!

  3. It’s bittersweet and absolutely endearing ending. I cried most of the time. I love the part when Min-A proposed to Seon-Ho, his acting was so cute. Overall, I will miss this series. Oh, and Seong Hyeon really looks like Rain oppa

  4. I looked forward each weekend to catch up on this K-Drama. I doubt there would be a season 2, but their ratings were through the roof. Congrats to writers, producers, production staff and the talented actors that brought this story to life.

  6. The Drama series was sooo perfect in these trying times of the pandemic. It has opened our hearts & mind.. that despite of everything we can still make a beautiful life & be happy in the most simplest way…(Gongjin way) even the midst of our darkest world or situation we are in. I love Hye-Jin & Dusik so much. They have good chemistry & of course to all the cast! Congratulations Team Hometown Chachacha!!!❤️❤️❤️

  8. in this time of pandemic we.need to laugh our heart out…such an endearing kdrama. I will miss the cast and the panoramic view of ocean… it’s a story of ordinary folks with beautiful heart. helping each other. love the punchlines and witty dialogues. we learned so much from this drama. ILOVEIT AND I WILL MISS IT! CONGRATS TO KIM SEONHO AND.SHIN MIN AH AND ALL THE REST. ALL OF YOU DID GREAT! THANKS TO THE PEOPLE BEHIND THIS KDRAMA! season 2 please…

  9. I am going to miss this seaside coastal town of Gongjin and the residents. With all that is happening in the world, this kdrama is so heartwarming and comforting. No perfect relationships, no perfect life, no perfect looks but hometown chachacha had the ‘perfect cast’ for this perfect script. Will miss this kdrama.
