aespa is proving their powerful rookie status!

Last week, the group returned with their first-ever mini-album “Savage,” it marked their first-ever physical album since their debut in November of 2020.

On October 12, Hanteo Chart announced that “Savage” has sold a total of 276,877 copies in the first week of its release (October 5 to 11). This is an impressive number for a rookie girl group, but not only that, aespa has officially become the 4th girl group with the highest first-week sales in Hanteo history, the other three groups are BLACKPINK, IZ*ONE, and TWICE.

“Savage” was also crowned the second-highest first-week sales of any girl group album release of 2021- thus far.
