“Squid Game” Actress Lee Yoo Mi is finally getting the attention she deserves!
Since its premiere on September 17, “Squid Game” has exploded in popularity overseas, as of September 21, the drama ranked the No. 1 show in the ‘U.S Netflix’s top 10 in the U.S list today’ pushing “Sex Education” to the number two spot despite the drama being massively successful in the U.S and overseas. It’s the first-ever Korean drama to achieve this record.
Lee Yoo Mi plays the role of Jiyeong in the drama, and despite her short appearance on the show, she managed to capture netizens’ attention with her great acting skills.
Before the drama aired, Lee Yoo Mi had around 40,000 followers on Instagram, as of this writing, Lee Yoo Mi’ Instagram has amassed more than 387k followers, nearly 10 times than what she used to have before the drama aired. She managed to gain so many followers in about 3 days.
Lee Yoo Mi was born in 1994 and has been in many dramas and movies since her debut in 2010, many netizens are happy she’s being praised for her stellar acting in the drama.
