The actor previously stated in interviews that his father had advised him to experience other cultures to help with his future, Chae Jong Hyeop admits he was angry at those words growing up because he couldn’t understand why he had to live in a country where he could hardly communicate.

Thus, Chae Jong Hyeop honed his English skills by listening to pop music.

He went on to study Fashion Model Art in Seoul Arts College and had begun in 2014, he was picked to walk the runway for Korean designer Kim Seoryong.

You might blink and miss him, Chae Jong Hyeop officially made his TV acting debut in a minor role for the popular drama “Come and Hug Me.” However, the actor’s first acting project was the Webtoon “Hero Toondra Show.”

Since then, Chae Jong Hyeop’s drama list has only grown and he’s been in many projects ever since. He had his breakthrough in his role as the rising baseball player in “Hot Stove League.”

Chae Jong Hyeop has spent many years overseas and besides staying in South Africa for a while, the actor was also revealed to have spent a year in Thailand. He lived one year in Thailand during middle school.

Chae Jong Hyeop personally revealed that during a trip to Thailand with his mother, she gave him a ring and revealed that she wanted him to stay there and study.

The drama is said to be a “sports romance drama” about a man and a woman on a mixed doubles badminton company team.
