After reports about Momo and Heechul breaking up, both idols agencies have confirmed they have broken up.
In response to initial reports, JYP and Label SJ told news outlets they were looking into the reports about their breakup. They have now returned with new statements to confirm they have indeed ended their relationship.
SJ label told news outlets,
“After looking into the report, it is true that Heechul and Momo have ended their relationship.”
The agency asks for fans understanding as it is difficult to confirm why they broke up due to it being their artist’s personal matter.
Momo and Heechul have been a trending topic on Twitter following the breakup news with fans sharing mixed reactions to it.
Momo and Heechul had been involved in dating rumors in August of 2019 before confirming they were indeed dating in January of 2020. They dated for a year and a half.
