Despite Its Low Ratings In The 1% Range, JTBC’s “Nevertheless” Shows Massive Popularity Overseas Gathering Million Of Views Online

JTBC’s “Nevertheless” is finding massive popularity overseas.

The JTBC drama has been doing okay in terms of ratings despite its star-studded cast including rising actors Song Kang and Han So Hee. The expectations for the drama to do well in ratings were much higher.

While JTBC’s “Nevertheless” debuted with 2% in ratings, its been getting ratings in the 1% mark throughout the majority of its run thus far. Despite the low ratings domestically, the drama is finding massive success online and overseas gathering an average of 5 million total views per clips of each episode weekly, beating hit kdramas like “Penthouse 3” and “Hospital Playlist 2.”

“Nevertheless” behind-the-scenes videos of each episode are especially popular and each video has almost consistently racked up over 1 million views. JTBC also offers English subtitles to overseas fans which makes it more accessible worldwide.

The subject of Song Kang and Han So Hee relationship has been taking center stage since the drama aired. Many fans are referring to their behind-the-scenes videos as proof of how good they look together.

  1. I’ve just finished watching the series and about to watch it again, loved the drama. It’s in my top 5 k dramas I’ve ever watched. Couples chemistry is strong , there’s nothing I would change. 10 out of 10 points 🙂
