Seo In Guk is considered one of the biggest Korean actors but his life story and family life was far from perfect and the actor has recently opened up about how much his mother struggled to provide for him when he was young.

Seo In Guk took part in an interview to promote his new movie “Pipeline,” and during the interview he was asked about his role model and he chose his mother.

Seo In Guk shared,

“Of course my father is my role model as well but my mom went through many difficulties raising me picking up recycling papers.

I wanted her to rest a bit after I debuted and wanted her to live comfortably but she said she didn’t want to rest and stop working because her body would grow sick and she told me she enjoys meeting new people.”

Seo In Guk had previously picked his mother as his role model in various interviews and talks highly of her. He also said that he resembles his mother in that aspect, that he doesn’t take a break or rest, he added,

“I can’t take a break or rest, when I do, I just want to work again. So she’s my role model.”

Seo In Guk is known for being a filial son and has reportedly even set up a cafe for his mother in his hometown.

The actor came back to the big screen for the first time in 8 years with “Pipeline,” it tells the story of a group that dreams of changing their lives by stealing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of oil hidden under Korean soil.
