The MBC drama “Oh My Ladylord” is not doing well!

While the drama began its run with rather modest ratings, the show began to lose viewers interest and its ratings began to tumble with each new episode.

According to Nielsen Korea, “Oh My Ladylord” episode 12 [which aired last week] scored average nationwide ratings of 0.9% and 1.2% for it’s two parts, marking a new low for the drama.

“Oh My Ladylord” has set a record becoming the only MBC drama in its history to score below 1% in ratings, added to that, “Oh My Ladylord” episode 12 is now the second lowest figure ever recorded for a Korean drama airing on a prime time slot in a free-to-air television network. The number one spot goes to KBS’s “Welcome” which had scored 0.8% for its lowest rated episode.

MBC was considered a drama-kingdom in the 90s, and many experts cite this drama as the downfall of the broadcasting network.

“Oh My Ladylord” is led by Lee Min Ki and Nana and tells the story of a man and a woman who arrange to live in the same house for a period of time, it tells the love story between an actress and a screenwriter.

  1. Great actors … but badly written story. Typical tropes that could have been so much better if they put more time
Into the script and not played safe. Still appreciate the cast for keeping it romantic.

  2. Its not the rating. Its about the story of this drama. For me this is such a great drama so far for lee min ki and nana. Lets not depend on the rating it have a good story great casting for me. Maybe mbc lacks of promoting this drama since first mbc should promote their drama more before airing the 1st ep. I’ll give 5 stars rate for this drama. Great acting for nana and lee min ki.
