KBS’s “Youth Of May” ratings are doing better!
The KBS drama started out with modest ratings and has been slowly and steadily climbing upwards. According to Nielsen Korea, “Youth Of May” episode 7scored average viewership ratings of 4.2% and 5% while “Youth Of May” episode 8 scored average viewership ratings of 4.3% and 5.7% marking a new personal best for the drama.
Previously, the drama recorded 5.2% with its May 18 episode which was its highest at the time. The drama is slowly but steadily climbing up in ratings.
On the other hand, tvN’s “Doom at Your Service” continues to waver around the 3% mark. According to Nielsen Korea, “Doom at Your Service” episode 5 scored average viewership ratings of 3.19% while its 6th episode recorded 3.38%, a slight rise.
Which one of these Monday-Tuesday dramas are you watching?
My personal thoughts- by Jass K.
I am currently enjoying both dramas, I am so happy for “Youth Of May” because it deserves even more attention. This KBS timeslot has been on a downward trajectory for some time now and it would take a miracle to revive this timeslot but our leads and the production team are doing just that.
I like dramas based in the 1980s and I have an idea of how this drama will likely end which makes it even more painful to watch. The review of “Youth Of May” is coming soon.
“Doom at Your Service” is…. I don’t know guys, I am beginning to have doubts and get tired of the repetitiveness. I am enjoying the cast because they are amazing and everyone was cast perfectly but I am not sure how I feel about the plot. A half-way review will be up next week where I’ll discuss in details what I mean by this.
Truth be told, Mondays have never been better!
