Mnet’s “Kingdom” is having to deal with a potential setback!

Last night, it was revealed that a dancer who participated in “Kingdom” has tested positive for COVID-19.




The dancer had performed with members of iKON, THE BOYZ, and SF9 for a unit collaboration stage. As a result, all of the groups participating in the show had undergone testing. Mnet stated that an epidemiologic investigation was being carried out, and everyone including the crew and staff is receiving preemptive testing.

On May 7, it was revealed that all the group members have tested negative. This includes Stray Kids, ATEEZ, iKON, The Boyz, SF9 and BTOB.

However, in the case of iKON, member Kim Dong Hyuk was classified as a close-contact and despite testing negative must undergo 14 days in self-isolation as per the guidelines. He will do so until May 18.




In the case of The Boyz, member Juyeon will also have to undergo 14 days in self-isolation as per the guidelines, he was classified as a close-contact. He will do so until May 18.

In the case of SF9, member Yoo Tae Yang will also undergo self-isolation for 14 days as he was classified as a close-contact. The rest of the group will carry out activities as per usual.

ATEEZ, Stray Kids and BTOB will resume activities as normal after testing negative.
