BTS “Butter” Music Video Breaks And Set Multiple YouTube Records As It Soars Past 60 Million Views At A Record Speed

BTS “Butter” Music Video has only been released 9 hours ago and it has already broken multiple records!

On May 21 at 1 p.m. KST, BTS released their new English-language single “Butter” along with the music video.

“Butter” is a catchy dance pop track produced by Rob Grimaldi, Stephen Kirk, and Ron Perry, and RM also participated in the song.

Here is how fast it took the music video to break through 60 million views in mere 9 hours:

BTS “Butter” Music Video initially reached 60 million views in 8 hours and 55 minutes breaking “Dynamite” record of 13 hours. However, 10 million views have been deleted and the MV has gone down to 53 million views.

BTS “Butter” Music Video reached 50 million views 6 hours 11 minutes, also breaking the record held by “Dynamite” that took 8 hours to reach the same milestone.

BTS “Butter” Music Video reached 40 million views in 4 hours and 46 minutes breaking their own previous record held by “Dynamite” that took 5 hours and 37 minutes to reach the same milestone.

BTS “Butter” Music Video reached 30 million in 2 hours also breaking a record and becoming the fastest music video on YouTube to do so.

It also took the MV less than 1 hour to surpass 20 million views, it was able to reach that milestone in 54 minutes, and had reached 10 million views in mere 13 minutes, also breaking the record held by “Dynamite” which it was able to achieve in 20 minutes.

But these are not the only worldwide records the MV broke since its been released, it also became the fastest MV to reach 1 million likes on YouTube, it has done so 40 minutes before its premiere.
