Stone Music Entertainment has shut down!

On April 20, it was reported that Stone Music Entertainment applied to close down its business on April 8 and the reason behind this is related to CJ ENM , since they’re the parent company and Stone Music Entertainment is one of its sub-labels.

The reason behind it is, “CJ ENM is working on reorganizing its sub-labels for efficiency.” CJ ENM confirmed the news by stating they have liquidated the agency and have done so to increase the efficiency in management

Stone Music Entertainment has many artists under it include g.o.d’s Son Ho Young, SG Wannabe’s Kim Yong Jun and Kim Jin Ho, Davichi, Eric Nam, Roy Kim, and TO1.

What will happen to those artists?

It is expected they will be moved to other labels but there are no news about when this will likely happen or what agencies they might join.

CJ ENM’s sub-labels include AOMG, H1GHR Music, MMO Entertainment, Swing Entertainment, and Off The Record Entertainment.
