Despite the challenge run, KBS’s “River Where The Moon Rises” production team has shared happy news with fans.

On April 9, “River Where The Moon Rises” producers officially announced that the drama will wrap up filming on April 12. Additionally, the production company behind “River Where The Moon Rises” will also submit for consideration at the 49th International Emmy Awards.

The drama has had an eventful run, it had already completed 95% of the shoot but due to its main lead Actor Ji Soo dropping out 6 episodes into its run, the production team had to re-cast another actor and re-film the drama. Luckily, the drama was met with mostly positive reviews from fans and has maintained good ratings throughout its run.

Due to its popularity, the drama has decided to re-film the first 6 episodes too to make the full drama available to viewers.

“River Where the Moon Rises” will air its final episode on April 20 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
