The Musicworks Announces B.O.Y’s Disbandment + Song Yuvin’s Military Enlistment And Departure From The Agency

Fans of rookie boy group B.O.Y are in for a couple of shocking news.

On April 30, the rising duo group B.O.Y’s agency announced their disbandment in an official statement, but the sad news doesn’t end there.

In their statement, they also announced that B.O.Y’s Song Yuvin has departed the agency and is set to enlist in the military.

In their official statement, they explained that they’ve reached this decision after lengthy discussions, the agency has decided to respect Song Yuvin’s decision to enlist in the military, and they have come to the conclusion to terminate his contract as well.

Song Yuvin has been with this agency since 2015 and the news came as a huge shock to fans. The agency thanked fans and asked them to give their full support to Song Yuvin.

And along with the decision to accept Song Yuvin’s wishes to enlist in the military, B.O.Y will disband and wrap up their activities.

B.O.Y was a duo that debuted in January of 2020. The duo consists of Kookheon and Yuvin, both of which are former members of MYTEEN. They had gained many fans after participating in “Produce X 101” and their last official duo activity was the release of their 2nd mini album 7 months ago.

Besides the shocking sudden disbandment, fans are surprised to learn that Song Yuvin wants to enlist in the military. He was born in 1998 and has a lot of time left before he must enlist in the military.
